About the Brand
Founder and owner, Ed Carey, came across the historic brand, S. N. PIKE’S MAGNOLIA SPIRITS, which started in 1849 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Pike sourced the very best bourbon and whiskey and sold them throughout the United States and into Europe. Magnolia Spirits were highly sought after spirits until Prohibition put the company, along with many others, out of business.
In 2020, Ed and his daughter revived the long-lost brand in Columbus, Ohio. Our goal in recreating Pike's Magnolia Spirits brand is to act in the Samuel Pike tradition by seeking out and sourcing special quality bourbon and whiskey.
Wheated Bourbon
A 45% wheated bourbon aged over 3 years in a #4 char barrel and proofed with Kentucky spring water.
Nose: Fresh baked bread with a floral bouquet.
Palate: Fruit forward that transforms into tobacco notes with a maple sweetness.
Finish: Sweetness leads to a smooth and nutty rounded end that lingers.

This 125.12 barrel proof bourbon has 45% wheat, 4% barley and is aged more than 4 years in #4 char barrels.
Nose: Caramel with cinnamon and baking spice.
Palate: Rich brown sugar and caramel notes followed by hints of oak.
Finish: Sweet, warm, and lasting.
